    Iraq and Lebanon have distanced themselves from the contents of the final statement issued yesterday at the conclusion of the emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States, at the level of permanent representatives, on the situation in Yemen.
    Iraq has rejected any military intervention to resolve the conflict in Yemen, calling for political dialogue among Yemenis, and supported the efforts of the United Nations envoy to Yemen, which would lead to the formation of a government of national unity that includes all segments of the Yemeni people.
    For his part, Lebanon announced that it distanced itself from the statement of the League "to include positions that go beyond previous resolutions, especially the resolution of the recent summit."
