    Kurdish media reported that the Prime Minister Haider Abadi, the federal police in the province of Kirkuk, open the road link between the province, and between Erbil, after about 8 months of closure.
    And revealed Kurdish reports, "the issuance of an order and a letter from Prime Minister Haider Abadi addressed to the federal police in Kirkuk to open the road Arbil Kirkuk directly."
    "The federal police have begun lifting concrete barriers and blocks to open the road near the Elton Cobri district of the federal police district," she said, noting that "the road has been cut since the events of 16 October 2017."
    She added: "This decision is the beginning of the signs of openness to Abadi before the arrival of Kurdish parties to Baghdad."
     
    The Peshmerga forces blew up the Elton Bridge bridge between Kirkuk and Erbil as Iraqi forces advanced during "law enforcement" operations.
