The angry demonstrations continue in a number of Iranian cities in protest against rising prices, the deterioration of the economy, the collapse of the local currency and the difficult living conditions of citizens.
Footage on social networking sites showed violent clashes between Iranian security forces and young men in Isfahan, where demonstrations were renewed for a third consecutive day as hundreds marched out on Amir Kabir Street chanting against the corrupt mullahs' regime.
Mass rallies were also held in Shiraz, the center of Fars province and in the city of Karaj south of Tehran, which witnessed demonstrations on Thursday led to clashes with police and security.
In a scene in northeastern Iran, mass demonstrations erupted in which protesters shouted "falling in price."
