[rtl]Oil prices rose 3 percent, and Brent crude futures were up three-week highs after US government data showed a larger than expected drop in crude stocks.[/rtl]
[rtl]"Brent crude futures increased $ 2.15, or 3 percent, to settle at $ 74.78 per barrel, and the world's benchmark crude was $ 75 per session, the highest since July 31."[/rtl]
[rtl]"US crude oil futures rose 2.02 dollars to 67.86 dollars a barrel, up 3.1 percent," it said.[/rtl]
[rtl]Crude oil consumption in refineries fell 89,000 barrels per day from the previous week's record high of 17.9 million bpd, while refinery operating rates stabilized at 98.1 percent last week, the highest level since 1999.[/rtl]
