Al-Bayati said that "this is a clear violation of the right of the citizen to move and restrict his personal freedom, and it is considered a violation of the Constitution, which stipulates in Article 44 in the first paragraph on the (that the Iraqi freedom of movement, travel and housing inside Iraq and beyond," and the second paragraph, "Iraq can not be denied or deported or deprived of repatriation".
"It is also considered a violation of international conventions, especially international treaties and conventions related to the rights and freedoms of the public, including freedom of movement, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that" Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and choice of residence within the borders of the State " Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own and to return to his country, as well as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and other relevant international conventions. "
Al-Bayati called for "the reopening of closed areas and facilitation of movement both on bridges and between different areas."
