    A source in the provincial council of Basra said on Monday that the latter voted to dismiss a group of directors of the state departments in the province.

    The source told Ashqaf News that during the session of the Basra Provincial Council numbered 210, on today, the twenty-second of October, the vote was to change a group of district directors in 12 departments of the province of Basra.

    He added that the changes affected managers in the municipal departments, municipalities, health, investment, agriculture, water, sewage, education, care, distribution electricity, passports, electricity Basra.

    Basra has seen in recent weeks large demonstrations, in which protesters accused influential parties in the province, the management of financial and administrative corruption in the institutions of the state and its departments.
