Iranian Interior Minister Abdul Ridha Rahmani Fadhli has announced Tehran's readiness to carry out counter-terrorism operations in Pakistani territory.
"Thanks to the efforts of the security services and the police, in addition to the Foreign Ministry, it has lost," Abdul Raza Rahmani Fadhli told reporters on Saturday on the sidelines of a meeting of members of the central committee to mark the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory. He stressed Tehran's readiness to carry out counterinsurgency operations in Pakistani territory if the authorities of the country allow such operations.
He pointed out that Tehran's failure to carry out such operations on the other side of the border is due to its respect for Pakistan's territorial integrity as a country that shares a strategic unity with Iran.
