Basra gas seeks to gradually increase its production capacity to exceed one thousand during the coming period

The Basrah Gas Company announced on Wednesday that its daily production is 900 million cubic feet (cubic feet) from the fields of Zubayr, Rumaila and West Qurna, while it indicated that it seeks to gradually increase its production capacity to exceed one thousand during the coming period.
This comes during a celebration organized by the company at its production site in Khor Al-Zubair on the occasion of its fifth anniversary.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas, Hamid Younis Saleh said in a speech during the ceremony, that the ministry and the management of the company is working on the strategy to develop production and treatment of associated gas produced from Rumaila fields, Zubair and West Qurna.
He added that the current production of the company is 900 million standard cubic feet per day from the fields of Zubayr and Rumaila and West Qurna, while the current plans to increase the quantities of current production gradually to 1050 per day as part of a plan to reach to 2000 million cubic feet a day in the coming years .
