    Hindawi said that "the age groups between (40) years to (59) years were the third size among the population of Iraq, according to population estimates prepared by the Central Bureau of Statistics for 2018, the number of (5) million and (650) thousand people," explaining "The age group was formed from (40-44 years) the largest number, exceeding the (2 million) slightly, followed by the age group (45-49 years) the number of (1) million and (520) thousand people, then the age group (55-59) (50-54 years) was the lowest among this population, with a population of 992,000. "
    He explained that "the other age groups of 60 years or more, were the lowest among the age groups, with a population of (1) million and (899) thousand people, including (1) million and (189) thousand people in the age group (60-69) (471) thousand people within the age group (70-79 years) while the population of the age group (80 years and above) (237) thousand people only, "pointing out that" Iraqi society according to its demographic data is a young and active society Economically, because the largest proportion of its population (15 - 69) years are among the economically active population. " 
    He said that "the total population of Iraq for 2018 exceeded (38) million people slightly," pointing out that "males constitute the largest number (19) million and (261) thousand people, while the number of females (18) million and (863) ) a thousand".
    He pointed out that "(26) million and (630) thousand of the population live in urban (cities) make up more than (70%) of the population, compared to (11) million and (500) thousand people living in the countryside."
