    Direct sales of the Central Bank of Iraq from foreign currency, on Wednesday, to 159.64 million dollars; compared to sales of 157.19 million dollars on Tuesday; $ 2.45 million.
    The central bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 29 banks and one financial transfer company.
    The bank said the sales were the results of Thursday's auction, indicating total sales totaled $ 177.14 million.
    Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 158.84 million, while total cash sold was estimated at $ 18.3 million.
    The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad is at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
