The Central Agency on Saturday issued a new survey in Iraq on the monthly spending of an individual in Iraq in 2018, pointing out that the average size of the family in Iraq is six. 

The agency said in a report, read by Alsumaria News that "the average monthly household spending was calculated at market prices after evaluating the ration card items at prices in commercial markets and evaluating rents for all types of housing according to the prevailing rent rates for the corresponding housing."

He added that "the total expenditure per capita (45.7)% of individuals spend less than 200 thousand dinars per month, while (26.8)% of individuals who spend between 200 thousand to less than 300 thousand dinars per month." 

He added that "14% of individuals who spend between 300 to less than 400 thousand dinars per month," noting that "(13.3)% of individuals who spend 400 thousand dinars or more per month." 

"The average family size in Iraq is 6, 5.9 in urban areas and 6.5 in rural areas," he said.
