The chief of staff of the armed forces in Iran Maj. Gen. Mohammad Baqri warned against the continuation of attacks by terrorist groups on the country from the territory of Pakistan and the spread of their headquarters in this country, stressing that the government should work to end its presence or allow our troops to enter.

"If the activities of terrorist headquarters in Pakistan continue, according to the UN Charter and the principle of self-defense, the Islamic Republic of Iran has the right to deal directly with these headquarters and retaliation and the appropriate decision will be taken when necessary," Bagheri told reporters in Qom on Monday. "He said.

"After the terrorist attack in Sistan and Baluchistan Province, I made contact with the Pakistani officials. A team from this country was sent to Iran for negotiations. I also called the military commanders in this country and asked them to cleanse the area or let our armed forces enter," he said.

"Pakistan has begun operations to combat terrorist groups in the border area of Baluchistan bordering Iran, but these operations may not work, but we will continue our dialogue and pressure on this country to ensure the root uprooting of terrorist groups in the border areas and to establish security and stability in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan, .

"Iran has closed and deployed its forces in large border areas with Pakistan over the past years, but parts of them are still open, where terrorists use them to infiltrate into the country," he said.

"Terrorist groups have secret and semi-clandestine military headquarters in Pakistan where terrorists carry out training activities, thanks to financial and logistical support from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates," he said.

"The terrorists have tried to carry out several attacks in Iran in the past two months, but 95 percent of them have been thwarted and some attacks are still being carried out in some parts of the country," Bagheri said.

"Pakistan should be responsible for clearing the border areas bordering Iran from terrorist groups, but this country has deployed only a small number of its forces in the neighboring state of Baluchistan, where the common border area with this country is about 1,000 kilometers," he said.
