Baghdad: Baghdad Chamber of Commerce has elected its consultative body, which is an integral part of the work of the Chamber is the real and only representative of the Iraqi private sector.
The head of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce Jafar al-Hamdani said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "The Chamber helped to support the sons of the Baghdadi business family through various partnerships and not the most recent restoration of markets affected by previous terrorist acts and rehabilitation and tiling and cover streets of old markets, Souq Akkad Christians and the soap market and under the fold}. He pointed out that "the Chamber will take appropriate measures to resolve and remove all obstacles that stand in the way of the business process."
Al-Hamdani said that "the advisory body elected in the chamber will work through committees representing the market and various specialties including {food, perfume, construction, clothing, backup materials, electrical and other specialties) in order to communicate the voice and demands of the family members of the commercial owners The resolution and overcome all obstacles that may hinder their business. "
For their part, the members of the advisory body elected in the Chamber made proposals for business, including granting loans and banking facilities to traders and overcoming difficulties in respect of import licenses.
The winners of the elections of the advisory body of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, which took place in a positive and democratic atmosphere are Hamed Mohammed Shaker, who won the chairmanship of the body, while won Qassim Askar, Mohammed Fadel, Abdul Hussein Hamza and Dredd Mahmoud as Vice-Presidents.
