Shafaq News / Director of exhibitions in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals Hanaa Hussein, that the Iraqi industry is able to cover the local market and dispense with imported products.
"The ministry's institutions and laboratories are capable of covering the Iraqi market with many national products that are equal to and even superior to foreign imported products," Hussein said in a statement to the News Agency on Wednesday. "Iraqi products are commensurate with the needs of this market and are fully compatible with standardization and quality control "He said.
"The objective of this exhibition is to prove the high level of Iraqi industry, which carries the ambition to deliver Iraq to a stage where it will dispense with many foreign products and replace them with national products in various sectors."
"Dependence on Iraqi factories and Iraqi products is a national task. It will contribute to the progress of the country. There will be other sources to boost the budget of the country that is not the main source of oil. It will also provide labor and help eliminate unemployment."
She called on all institutions of the country and owners of companies in the private sector "to visit the exhibition and then draw future plans in coordination with all ministries, and start the national project (Made in Iraq)."
