    A member of the House of Representatives Salam al-Shammari, on Wednesday, that the opening of the door of large investment in the country needs concrete measures to end the state of routine delay to enter. 
    Al-Shammari said in a statement received by Al-Iktissad News, a copy of it, that "Iraq has a wide area of ​​investment, which makes it stands at the forefront of the countries of the region in progress and strengthen its economic and financial status of natural resources and vast land and skilled and efficient labor." 
    He added that "many investors, whether locally or internationally, complain about the delay in the procedures to start their plans and projects, which leads to the reluctance of some not to wait and delay others to enter the investment in different sectors of the country." 
    Al-Shammari pointed to "the need to shorten the procedures and simplify them so that Iraq is an attractive environment and all its regions, while spreading the situation of strengthening security and stability in the region for various investment projects."
