    A member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Mohammed Iqbal al-Sidli, on Sunday, surprised by the unfair benefits imposed by government banks on citizens in exchange for advances and loans granted to them.

     
    "It is the duty of governments and their responsibilities to fully support their citizens and facilitate their lives by distributing light and soft loans that will improve the economic and living conditions of their citizens," the pharmacist said in a statement. 

    The pharmacist called on the prime minister and the finance minister to take their role to ease the burdens of citizens 'lives and urgently review the huge benefits imposed by government banks on citizens' loans, some of which reached 50 percent.
