Basra Council: We did not ask the governor to resolve his stay in office so far

The head of the Basra Provincial Council, Sabah al-Bezouni, denied that the council had asked a question to Governor As'ad al-Eidani about resolving his position from the post to stay in it or not.
He pointed out that there may be marginal talk between the corridors of the Council on this subject, but no official position has been made.
Al-Bazzouni said that the issue of asking a question to the governor in this regard has not yet been completed in the council until it is declared and announced in the media.
Al-Bezouni confirmed that As'ad al-Eidani is now governor of Basra and he has not yet gone to parliament to perform the oath, so he remains a conservative.
