Suppossibly, Turki has not or was not in line with what needed to be done accordingly to the Kurds. It was stated that he needed to get on board or be replaced. I am sure this is what these comments are referring too.

All I know is that there was a plethora of financial voices in Iraq screaming foul when it didn't follow through as was clearly seen in the news reports indicating such an expectation existed in such circles.

Maliki intended to remove Turki but no one would take the position and who could blame them, they'd be forced to where a scarlet letter like Shabibbi, unfortunately Maliki became a victim of his own undoing, even though he was instrumental in removing Iraq from Chapter VII ... so yes Duck did mention the action of removal of turki long  before the articles supported his assertion.

The plan for revalue , though sound unfortunately isn't as rigidly attached to the timeframe as we would deserve [best laid plans of Mice and Men I suppose] Indecision, terrorism inept council etc made it a moving target.  Now we are faced with a budget and on it's heels an election, which is probably our saving grace since Maliki is not going to remain in his position ... thus opening the door for perhaps a new CBI gov

After the election we will see how it shakes out ....
