A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary deputy Riad Tamimi, Monday, that the formation of a new investment in the province is the main reason to disrupt the wheel of economy in the province.
"We have addressed the government and the Diyala Council a while ago to form a new investment body and choose a president and a deputy to facilitate the presentation of investment opportunities and access to vital projects to improve the province, but unfortunately did not respond to our address also did not know why the delay of the formation process until right Now".
He added that "the absence of an investment body in Diyala for some time is a major reason to disrupt the wheel of economy and investment within the regions of the province," pointing out that "the disruption of the body comes due to corruption and abuses on the land and large capacity in the province by influential parties."
Al-Tamimi called for "the need to speed up the formation of the Diyala Investment Commission to accelerate the granting of investment licenses in the province instead of resorting to the National Authority," noting that "the urgency of the formation of the Commission several times comes with the aim of establishing an international investment conference in Diyala."
