{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority signed with its Kuwaiti counterpart an executive memorandum on the regulation of air transport services between the two countries.
The Director-General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority Ali Khalil Ibrahim said in a statement, received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "The signing of this memorandum with the Kuwaiti side has developed the operational framework for flights involving passengers and air cargo, in addition to strengthening cooperation frameworks in the field of air navigation between Two countries ".
He added that "the signing ceremony of the memorandum took place on 12 May on the sidelines of the seventh session of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti High Joint Ministerial Committee."
It is worth mentioning that Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim headed the Iraqi delegation which visited Kuwait on Saturday to discuss a number of issues and common files between the two neighboring countries.
