Huawei is moving its war with America to the court

Reuters) - China's giant technology giant Huawei said on Wednesday it would ask the US judiciary to overturn US legislation that bars federal agencies from buying its products.
"The law directly determines that Huawei is guilty and is subject to a large number of restrictions," Song Lioping, the company's legal officer, said in a statement broadcast on state television.
The Chinese company filed suit to overturn the US decision in March on the grounds that it was unconstitutional.
In March, the company sued to overturn US law on the grounds that Congress failed to provide any evidence that would justify a ban on its products.
But the Chinese giant decided Wednesday to file a lawsuit against summary proceedings, which means that the verdict in this case will be a single judge and thus Huawei will not have to go to a full trial.
"We hope that the US courts will declare Huawei's ban unconstitutional and prevent its application," Song said.
