    BAGHDAD -
A political source revealed on Saturday the "concern" of the US Embassy in Baghdad to refer the commander of Nineveh operations Major General Najm al-Jubouri to retire.
The source said, according to "RT": "During the past few days contacts between government leaders and political leaders whose second party was the US Embassy in Baghdad, which expressed its indirect objection to the transfer of Jubouri to retire."
He added: "The Americans expressed their fears that the popular crowd may control the security decision in Nineveh by appointing a military commander close to them or follow them."
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi government announced the transfer of Maj. Gen. Najm Abdullah al-Jubouri to retire during the current month and the appointment of Major General Noman Abdul Zubai instead.
