Deputies: Extension of the legislative term of Parliament will be for one month only

The parliamentary legal committee confirmed that the extension of the current legislative term of the House of Representatives in accordance with the Constitution will be for one month only.
Member of the Committee Hussein al-Aqabi explained that the current legislative term will officially end early next month, noting that the extension has become a necessity because the parliament did not achieve a legislative achievement during the second chapter, and there is a parliamentary majority within the House of Representatives to move towards the extension decision, noting that the government sent more than fifty projects Law to parliament related to the ministerial platform.
