    The Central Bank of Iraq sold more than 269 million dollars in the sale of foreign currency today. 

    The bank said in a statement: "The total amount sold today amounted to (269) million and / 552 / thousand and / 100 / dollars, with the participation of (30) banks and one company." 


    He explained that the total sales for the purpose of strengthening the assets abroad / remittances and credits amounted to 246 million and 632 thousand and 100 dollars while the total cash sales amounted to 22 million and 920 dollars.

    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
    The value of foreign currency sales at Tuesday's auction rose to $ 246.87 million, compared to Monday's $ 219.45 million sale of $ 27.42 million, the Central Bank of Iraq showed. 
    The exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, according to central bank data today, in the auction held with the participation of 30 banks, as well as one financial transfer company. 
    The Central Bank said that the sales executed are results on Wednesday, indicating that the total sales totaled $ 269.55 million. 
    He pointed out that the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to 246.63 million dollars, while the total cash sold amounted to 240 thousand dollars.
