A leaked image published recently would put Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi in embarrassment after claiming that National Security arrested and detained Hamza al-Shammari, known as Hajji Hamza.

Less than 48 hours after Abdul Mahdi's claim that the man accused of being the drug and gambling emperor in Baghdad was being held by the National Security Agency, local media reported that the allegations were not true.

According to a leaked picture of Hamza, yesterday, he appeared with his data written on a white paper containing the trio of his name "Hamza Ali Alwan" born in 1970 and his place of residence in the capital Baghdad.

The paper then concluded by confirming that he was being held in the custody of the Popular Mobilization Security, a document that confirms what had previously been leaked about Abdul Mahdi's request for the crowd to arrest him alone, contrary to recent reports that he is being held by National Security.
