Council of Basra: 47 thousand houses exceeded in the city center

Basra Provincial Council announced on Friday that there are more than 47 thousand houses exceeded in the city center due to lack of infrastructure services in the outskirts of the province.
The head of the strategic planning committee in the council Nashaat Al-Mansouri told the "information" that "the provinces of Basra province and districts lack of infrastructure services of water and sewage networks and the delivery of electricity in a stark way, as well as paving roads."
He added that "the deterioration of the reality of services in it pushed to migrate to the city center," noting that "the lack of housing for the number of expatriates to the center has increased the construction of overtaking houses."
He explained that "the number of houses exceeded in the center of Basra exceeded 47 thousand houses," calling for "a serious and urgent pause to resolve the housing crisis." Done 25 and
