, President of the Victory Coalition and former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi confirmed on Saturday that breaking the quorum for Parliament’s sessions is unjustified because it endangers the political system.
"Some blocs advance their interests and break the quorum unjustified because it exposes the political system to danger," Al-Abadi said in a television interview followed by Mawazine News.
And he added, "The uncontrolled weapon threatens the political presence and the security forces have weakened because of their involvement in confronting the demonstrators."
Al-Abadi called on the political blocs "not to look outside and to wake up a little because Iraq is going through a dangerous slide." End / 29 / h
