a deputy revealed the Kurdish component, in parliament, on Sunday, the developments of negotiations on choosing a prime minister.
"The consultations between the blocs of the Shiite component reached their climax regarding the nomination of a candidate, and we are still awaiting results from these consultations," said the deputy from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Bashar al-Kiki.
He added, "The Shiite component blocs are still talking among them in order to reach a single candidate that meets the criteria set by them, and then present it to the two components in the Kurdish and Sunni countries, so that we can proceed with the formation of the government."
He pointed out, "There are dialogues between the Shiite component blocs and efforts being made to reach the name of the candidate's personality, but until now there is no conciliation with the nominee."
