Al-Kazemi revealed the most important decisions of the first session of the Council of Ministers, and in a statement to him at the conclusion of the first session, Mr. Al-Kazimi said: God willing, today we held the first session of the Council of Ministers, and we have taken a series of decisions, in the forefront of which is the release of pensioners ’salaries and we are keen not to delay them.
We also decided to form a supreme legal committee to investigate all the events that took place from October 1, 2019 until today, in a way that achieves justice and fairness, holding those in Iraq blood accountable and compensating the families of the martyrs and caring for the injured, and we also instructed the security services to release all the detainees who participated in the demonstrations and asked for From the Supreme Judicial Council to cooperate in the release of demonstrators who committed minor cases, with the exception of those involved in Iraqi blood.
Al-Kazimi added: We have decided to form a crisis cell of specialists in foreign affairs and international relations to conduct discussions with the American side on reviewing the strategic agreement between the two countries to protect the unity and sovereignty of Iraq.
And about the conduct of the elections, Al-Kazemi said: We issued a decision to form a committee of experts to coordinate with the concerned authorities to overcome obstacles to conducting early, fair and fair elections.
Al-Kazemi continued: We also decided to return the hero brother, Lieutenant General Abdel-Wahab Al-Saadi, and to promote him as head of the anti-terrorism agency.
He pointed out that the government will be transparent as we promised you, and it will not be a government of dark rooms and in every decision we make to serve the public interest.
At the end of his statement, Al-Kazemi called on the media to be careful and careful in conveying information and decisions issued by the Council of Ministers and relying on the official source, denying all rumors in the past days.
