Baghdad and Tehran are about to sign a draft security agreement

[rtl]Baghdad ( NINA ) - The Iranian Ministry of Interior revealed, today, Thursday, a draft security agreement between Tehran and Baghdad, indicating that this came against the background of the visit of an Iraqi security delegation to the Iranian capital.
The ministry said in a statement posted on the official website of the Iranian government: "The discussions between the Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, Hussein Zulfiqari, and the advisor to the Iraqi Interior Minister, Abdul Halim Fahim Al-Farhoud, resulted in reaching agreements on security cooperation in various fields."
According to the statement, Zulfiqari affirmed that "Iran has important cooperation with Iraqi officials in various sectors, including at the level of the Ministry of Interior," indicating that: "An agreement will be signed for cooperation in the field of security and internal security between Iraq and Iran." / End 7[/rtl]
