{Baghdad: Al Furat News} An Iraqi ship sank in the Gulf International waters.
The deputy from Basra Governorate and former Minister of Transport, Kazem Al-Hamami, said in a statement that the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it, "He is closely following the incident of the sinking of an Iraqi vessel (tugboat) with its crew, in the international waters of the Gulf Basin."
"Saudi naval patrols have rushed to the site of the accident to rescue the crew and pull them out safely (all of them alive)," he added.
He indicated that he "will follow up with the (Memac) organization in Bahrain, to facilitate their return to Iraq, pending receipt of the detailed report after the investigation into the accident is completed," noting that "he will review the details related to the incident after receiving the report."
