Iraq must shut down US embassy in Baghdad: Politician

A prominent member of Iraq’s Parliamentary Committee on Defense Affairs says the government must take all necessary measures to shut down the US embassy in Baghdad.
The comments by Iskandar Watoot come after US failed to meet its obligations in the case of Iraq security.
The veteran Iraqi politician also criticized Washington for delaying the delivery of US F-16 jets purchased by Baghdad.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has said the al-Qaeda-linked militants’ advance could have been avoided if US jets had been delivered on time.

The US delivery of 36 F-16 jets was scheduled prior to the ISIL cult's offensive. However, the aircraft are not expected to be in service until the fall of this year as US contractors who must train the Iraqi air force have been evacuated.
Iraq’s ambassador to Washington, Lukman Faily, has recently said Iraq will turn to Iran, Russia, and Syria for military support if the United States does not provide Baghdad with what it needs to face Takfiri ISIL militants.
On Tuesday, he said at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington that the Iraqi government has to receive any aid available because of the threat from the ISIL terrorists.

Iraqi politicians have also accused Washington of trying to justify its stance on Iraq by describing the crisis there as sectarian.

Soldiers of the Iraqi army have been engaged in heavy fighting with the Takfiri ISIL militants in different fronts and have so far been able to push back militants in several areas.
Premier al-Maliki has vowed that the country’s security forces would confront the Takfiri terrorists. He has repeatedly said the US regional allies -- Saudi Arabia, Qatar and some other Persian Gulf Arab states -- are supporting the militancy in Iraq.

Allies is like the same support right? If not, I can not blaim them for their attitudes. Obama sucks.

Maliki has Russia and China has their allies now. He doesn't need the US or GB. But don't know how this will fly with them.

Seems like a good place for China and Russia... they spent absolutely no money creating the mess and get to make money  supporting the clean up... sweet deal indeed!
