    Today, Thursday, a member of the House of Representatives, Melhan Al-Mukoutar, ruled out that the 2021 budget will be passed during the next Saturday session by a majority, indicating that the budget problems are large, especially with the Kurds and need to be solved in depth, while the head of the Economic and Investment Committee in the House of Representatives, Ahmed Salim Al-Kanani, revealed the suspension Sovereign loans and guarantees in the 2021 budget, as they burden the state.
    Al-Makoutar said in a press statement, "The Kurdish delegation that came to Baghdad was at a high level and did not reach a conclusion regarding the region's share in the budget," stressing that "approving the budget is necessary and everyone is awaiting approval, especially the citizens, despite its contract."
    He added, "The Kurds have many requests in the budget, and there are disagreements on increasing the region's oil production," noting that "the differences are strong and there will be a complication in the scene unless there are quick solutions."
    Al-Makoutar ruled out that “the approval of the budget will proceed by the majority,” saying: “The decision is with the Presidency of Parliament that has more direct ties to the heads of the blocs than the deputies, and it negotiates with them in this regard, so if there is no agreement, the budget will not go by the majority, and yet it is not It is easy to predict what will happen in this regard. ”
    In addition, the head of the Economy and Investment Committee in the House of Representatives, Ahmed Salim Al-Kinani, told the official newspaper, “The committee sent notes to the Finance Committee regarding the 2021 budget to stop loans and sovereign guarantees because they burden the state from an economic point of view,” indicating that “the committee recommended the need to support projects. Sectoral to activate the industrial side mainly, and convert imported consumer products to manufactured locally, and support the project (Made in Iraq) during the next phase.
    He added, "The committee focused on mainly supporting the private sector, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning to set up a specific mechanism to settle more than 300 investment projects that are lagging by terminating or completing their contracts by other investors or a settlement between the government and investors," noting "the existence of thousands of these projects." It has not been resolved yet, but it is a follow-up by the subcommittee in the Ministry of Planning.
    On the ration card, Al-Kinani indicated that "the committee indicated to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi the need to lift some restrictions from the Ministry of Trade and grant it the necessary allocations for that." .
    And he emphasized that “implementing a new program for the ministry during the next week by lifting some restrictions, controls and conditions for tenders and direct calls in order to provide foodstuffs to citizens during the blessed month of Ramadan as quickly as possible, and directing an official letter from the committee to the ministry that there will be a food basket containing several materials that can Raising the standard of living and social status of the citizen.
    On the other hand, a member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Rashid Al-Azzawi, told the official newspaper, “There are many important laws that need approval after the budget, including the Federal Service Law, which is one of the important laws that have not yet been enacted, although the law is before Parliament. He has read the first and second readings and contains a hundred articles, ”noting that“ the service law in force now is old and needs to enact a new law.
    He explained, "There is a law to amend the Accountability and Justice Law, as this law was voted upon at a time when the country was going through a difficult period, and the Baath Party passed its rule for a very long time, so this law needs to be reviewed."
    Al-Azzawi continued: "The oil and gas law is one of the serious laws that also need legislation to end the serious issues with the region that impede the approval of the budget every year because of their share," noting "the existence of other important laws, including the law on domestic violence."
