[rtl]BAGHDAD - A member of the parliamentary committee on economy and investment said on Wednesday that the loans received by the government have passed in a non-transparent manner and the parliament has not been allowed to see them, pointing out that the parliament did not respond to requests of deputies to see the details of those loans.[/rtl]
[rtl]Najib Najib said in a press statement that "the government did not inform the House of Representatives on the loans obtained, not the purpose of them," asserting that "the Presidency of Parliament did not respond to the inclusion of the study of these loans and see them on the agenda of one of the meetings."[/rtl]
[rtl]"Most of these loans went through quickly and in a non-transparent manner, and they were not well studied," she said. "Some of these loans did not even know the purpose of borrowing them or how to repay them." [/rtl]
[rtl]Earlier, Japan announced a $ 270 million loan to Iraq, saying the loan was meant to improve Iraq's financial conditions and help the government carry out reforms. [/rtl]
