He called on the Ministry of Finance to "seek to maximize state resources instead of tax deductions for employees and retirees, who are an important segment and working groups, and their monthly income should not be affected." It added a new burden on the shoulders of the Iraqi citizen, including the employee segment. "

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bashir Khalil Al-Haddad, confirmed, today, Friday, that the Ministry of Finance's proposal regarding tax deductions for employees is a legal violation of the budget provisions.
