The United States of America lives in a cycle of successive losses at the political and military levels in the world. Its longest war abroad in Afghanistan ended with a withdrawal without results, and its presence on Iraqi soil depends on Katyusha equations and political dialogues with the countries of the region.
Journalist Ali Al-Talqani says, "The United States of America, through its asymmetric wars in the world, twenty years ago, failed miserably in Iraq and Afghanistan, so that the repercussions and consequences could not be underestimated, at a time when the American intervention was expected to be wiser."
Noting that "the cases showed the opposite, because they were deluded with their confidence-driven vision and their belief that military power would easily overcome, that the reasons for this are due to a group of factors that explain this failure: such as Washington's inability to understand the complexity of the country and with regard to alternatives when changing regimes, but rather without a clear understanding." Profound and complex nature of societies. "
He added, "The other thing is that the United States was not able to secure a reliable and effective partner on the ground. Rather, even those it supported no longer fulfill its ambition."
Al-Talqani added, "Washington did not learn from its past experiences and was not able to fulfill its promises, but rather it was disappointing."
"The US government has repeatedly announced that it is about to withdraw its forces, which is a clear admission of defeat. The tragedy is that the withdrawal came after exorbitant human and material costs. Hundreds of thousands were killed and likewise wounded, and democracy was in the wind."
The United States of America fought four wars in Iraq, the first against the Kuwait war in 1990, the second in 2003, the third inside Iraq between 2004 and until its exit from Iraq in 2011, and the fourth against ISIS.
