{Economist: Al Furat News} The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Adel Al-Rikabi announced the launch of the project "Youth Employment with the support of the Central Bank, indicating that the project includes the establishment of real development projects."
Simultaneously with that, the reduction of social protection allocations in the 2021 budget was criticized by the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, which prevented the ministry from including between 400 and 500 thousand new beneficiaries.
Al-Rikabi said, in a press statement, that "the government has been fair to the Ministry of Labor after it allocated five trillion and 600 billion dinars within the federal budget for the current year to include 400-500 thousand new beneficiaries, in addition to raising the subsidy ceiling, but the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives did not do justice." After the ministry has transferred two trillions and a hundred billion dinars of the total funds allocated to other sections of the budget, including the amount of trillion and 600 billion dinars of social protection allocations, the ministry is a lot.
Al-Rikabi added, "The Finance Committee has suddenly reduced the amount allocated to the Social Protection Authority despite our agreement with the committee two days before the budget was voted on not to reduce."
