The Presidency of the House of Representatives held, today, Monday, a meeting that included the heads of parliamentary blocs, to discuss the sustainability of the work of the Council during the coming period.
A statement by the Media Office of the Presidency of Parliament, a copy of which was received by Mawazine News, stated that "the meeting discussed the importance of legislating some laws and agreements that have reached the voting stage, and activating the oversight role of the Council, in addition to the need to vote on members of the Federal Court of Cassation during the upcoming sessions."
She indicated that "the formation of a committee of experts to select members of the Human Rights Commission was discussed," noting that "during the meeting, it was decided to hold successive sessions this week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays." Ended 29/A 4
