Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Assistant Minister of Finance, Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed, and the Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank, Fahd Al-Dosari, discussed ways to achieve sustainable growth globally during the meeting of the Undersecretaries of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the Group of Twenty countries.
A statement by the Saudi Ministry of Finance, today, Saturday, stated that the meeting discussed global economic outlook and coordinated joint action towards achieving strong, sustainable and inclusive growth.
The meeting comes as a prelude to the third meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the Group of Twenty under the Italian presidency to be held in Venice during the period 9-10 July 2021, in which Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan and Governor of the Saudi Central Bank, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak, will participate.

It is noteworthy that the Kingdom is a member of the Troika of the Group of Twenty, which is a three-member committee headed by Italy (the current presidency of the Group of Twenty), the Kingdom (the previous presidency), and Indonesia (the subsequent presidency for 2022).
This committee aims to ensure that the G20 presidencies work side by side to achieve consistency and continuity of the group's agenda, and the Kingdom is keen to support the group's efforts to achieve strong, balanced, sustainable and comprehensive economic growth.
