The Ministry of Transport / Iraq Ports Company announced, on Tuesday, the productivity of the northern Umm Qasr port during the month of July for the current year.
The Director-General of the Iraq Ports Company, Farhan Muhaisin Al-Fartousi, said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that according to the directives of the Minister of Transport, Captain Nasser Hussein Al-Shibli, and out of transparency, we announce the productivity rate of Umm Qasr Al-Shamali port for the month of July, which is at a good level, as the rate of receiving incoming ships has reached About 61 ships loaded with goods.
He added that the productivity of the month of July showed that the rate of imported containers that were unloaded on the port berths amounted to about 19,567 containers, and that the rate of empty containers shipped on ships was about 19,908 containers, indicating that the volume of the incoming goods amounted to about 502 thousand tons.
