Al-Waeli indicated that the supervisory effort exercised by the authority revealed that the required product protection fees were not met in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 383 of 2018, where the necessary measures were taken and the required fees were collected in accordance with the decision and the laws in force.
He stressed that this is not the first or last time that the authority's cadres have been able to seize consignments that violate the laws
The head of the Border Ports Authority explained that the authority continues to control the security of the ports and prevent waste of public money in all of Iraq's sovereign borders.
