    The Ministry of Oil has confirmed that all types of fuel are secured to meet the needs of electric power stations, revealing that a number of production units will be introduced into various refineries.
    A source in the ministry said in a statement reported by the official newspaper "Al-Sabah" and seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the ministry worked to provide fuel of all kinds for power stations (gas, gas oil, black oil and crude oil), in addition to providing alternative fuels."
    He explained that "each electrical station depends in its operation on a type of basic fuel, and when it is not available, the Ministry of Oil deliberately pumps alternative fuel to it, which is stored within the station's warehouses."
    He pointed out that "the ministry's plan requires working to improve the quality and quantity of various oil derivatives, which is achieved through projects and units that are established and developed in the existing refineries for the purpose of improving the quality of oil derivatives and other projects to raise the productive capacities of the refineries."
    The source indicated that "these projects are proceeding simultaneously, as this year will witness the completion of the fourth unit in Basra oil, with a capacity of 70,000 barrels," noting that "Ismera units in the southern refineries will be completed and operated during the month of next October, in addition to the Izmirah unit in refineries." North.
    He stressed that "the ministry will succeed in implementing its plan according to its timing, as it succeeded in rehabilitating and operating the Salah al-Din 2 refinery with a capacity of 70,000 barrels last June, after it was subjected to great destruction during the control of ISIS terrorist gangs."
    The source praised, "the technical and engineering staff in the ministry, in coordination with the relevant companies, were able to rehabilitate all the refineries in the liberated areas, which were sabotaged by ISIS terrorist gangs, such as Al-Siniya refinery with a capacity of 30,000 barrels per day, Al-Kasak refinery with a capacity of 15,000 barrels, and Qayyarah with a capacity of 30,000 barrels." In addition to the Haditha refinery with a capacity of 16,000 barrels," stressing that "these refineries contribute to providing part of the needs of those regions for oil products."
    He pointed out that "the Ministry of Oil deals with all seriousness and high flexibility to attract investments in the field of building refineries, in addition to offering many investment projects that are dealt with by the competent departments to decide on them."
