    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, met the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Mawer, on the margin of the 22nd Rotation of Human Rights Council.
    A statement by Khuzayi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzayi expressed his gratitude for the ICRC for its great efforts in helping the victims all over the world.”
    “Khuzayi confirmed that Iraq is still seeking a settlement for the problem of the remains of the victims of Iraq wars with Iran and Kuwait in addition to the victims of the mass graves due to the policies of the former regime,” the statement added.
    “For his part, Mawer, expressed his thanks for Khuzayi for his understanding for the ICRC performance and appreciated Iraq’s cooperation in searching about the remains of the victims of wars,” the statement concluded.
