Zebari: The Presidency of the Republic will remain for the Kurds, Al-Halbousi and Al-Kazemi have a chance for a second term

The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, stressed that the position of President of the Republic will be from the Kurds' share, as is known by the political custom adopted in the distribution of the three presidencies after 2003.
He suggested the possibility of renewing a second term for Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, according to the election results. Zebari said in a press conference that it was too early to determine who would take this position. Zebari also confirmed that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi has a great opportunity for a second term if the political forces agree on that.
