    {Political: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Interior has set the date for issuing the electronic passport, in coordination with the Ministry of Communications.
    Director of Public Passports Affairs at the ministry, Major General Ahmed Abdel Sattar, said in a press statement, "The directorate will start issuing after completing all logistical matters related to the project, as it concluded a contract in this context with the Ministry of Communications to facilitate its issuance."
    "The electronic passport is characterized as containing an electronic chip includes full information of the passport holder," noting that "the security gates at airports will open in the event of matching the information on the slide, with the central installed, which is impossible to computerized manipulation."
    And he indicated that "the electronic passport will dispense with the use of the unified card because it carries the same information, and therefore in the event of a passport renewal, the citizen does not need the official documents because they are present in it."
    He revealed, "the completion of an integrated study of the Directorate to submit a feasibility study on the electronic passport, which will be the same currently used and approved by the Organization (Alakao) form of aviation, pointing out that" the Directorate will enable all citizens of the acquisition, according to official archives of fundamentalism. "
    He said, "The Directorate has succeeded and through mobile pouch, by issuing passports to the communities all over the world, as well as the issuing of humanitarian cases in just 24 hours and within ten branches distributed in Baghdad," revealing "coordination with the Ministry of Labor to grant passports for orphans and the elderly in the role of shelter" .
