    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Education signed a treaty with the Netherlands to involve primary school students in international competitions with the Netherlands in order to contribute to the development of their scientific capabilities.
    The Director of the Second Karkh Education, Dr. Qais Al-Kalabi, said in a press statement that the Communications Commission is in the process of making decisions and legislation related to a very important sector, "The treaty that was concluded in The Hague, will be within the subjects of science and mathematics because they are universal subjects taught in all countries of the world."
    And he indicated that "the goal of the treaty is to raise the scientific reality of students to be at the level of their counterparts in foreign schools, in addition to enhancing the sobriety of the Iraqi certificate as it was previously," stressing that "the competitions will include all schools in the country."
    Al-Kalabi indicated that "the ministry is working through this cooperation to develop the students' scientific capabilities because the schools will participate in international competitions with the mentioned scientific subjects, and within the ministry's preparations for the current academic year, especially after attendance was suspended for several months during the past year, which requires re-preparation of students and students."
