    The Information/Baghdad:
Leaks revealed banking data for a number of Arab leaders and officials in the Swiss bank, Credit Suisse, accused of receiving money linked to crime and corruption.
Data published by the "New York Times" and other newspapers showed that Jordan's King Abdullah II owns six accounts in the bank, one of which has a balance of more than $224 million.
She explained that among the names received, Alaa and Gamal, the two sons of the late Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, who had an account worth 196 million dollars.
She pointed out that Alaa and Jamal had six accounts as well, and that the figure was 196 million dollars, dating back to 2003.
The total of the accounts whose data was leaked to the newspapers amounted to 18 thousand accounts.
Among the leaked data, data on former Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman, and businessman close to Mubarak Hussein Salem.
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was on the list, along with Venezuelan officials.
In turn, the website "Organized Crime and Corruption OCCRP" pointed out that this data belongs to accounts monitored between the 1940s and 2010.
In turn, Credit Suisse rejected in a statement these accusations, stressing that the data that had been studied were "partial, incorrect and taken out of their framework, which presents a biased image of the management of affairs."
The bank added that "more than 90 percent of the accounts concerned have now been closed, and about 60 percent of them were closed before the year 2015," noting that an "investigation is being conducted" regarding the leakage of this data.
But the media involved in publishing the leaks confirmed that the practices revealed by the investigation are still valid inside the bank, and the bank’s senior management directly participates in it.
