The coordinating framework submits a written request to Muqtada al-Sadr
Shafaq News/ A senior source in the Shiite coordination framework said that the leadership of the framework will send a written message this Thursday evening to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr regarding a return to dialogues and political understandings between the two sides.
The source, who is a leader in the framework, explained in his statement to Shafak News Agency, that the message will include a meeting between the framework delegation headed by Hadi Al-Amiri and Al-Sadr to restore life to the Shiite house and form the next government.
This comes in conjunction with the coordination framework warning, earlier today, of a "big" gap that affects the ranks of the "largest component", and considered that the parliament session scheduled for Saturday to elect the President of the Republic "will not be fulfilled", calling for continued dialogues with the "Save the Nation" coalition. .
The framework said in a statement, "We call on all partners in the political process to show a spirit of sincere patriotism and attention to the nation's interest and keep it away from everything that disturbs its security and stability," noting that "the suffering of our people is increasing day after day, due to the absence of wise policies that work to achieve the fundamentals of a well-off life and extricate the poor from the quagmire of waste and rampant corruption.”
He believed that "next Saturday's session will not be achieved due to the lack of a quorum," noting the importance of "continuing constructive dialogues with the rest of the other forces to unify ideas and visions and achieve more understandings that speed up the completion of the upcoming entitlements."
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Sadrist bloc and the Sovereignty Coalition announced the formation of the "Save the Parliamentary Homeland" coalition, while presenting "Reber Ahmed" as a candidate for the post of President of the Republic and "Jaafar al-Sadr" for prime minister.
