Today, Monday, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the importance of the Office of Financial Supervision in combating corruption and preserving public money, "warning against the scourge of corruption that affects the country's stability and progress."
The Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih received, today at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the head of the Financial Supervision Bureau and Rafal Agency Yassin Khudair," stressing, "the importance of the role played by the Financial Supervision Bureau in Protecting public money, combating administrative and financial corruption, and contributing to supporting the national economy in a way that enhances the state’s effort to establish good governance based on upgrading management and governance systems in state institutions, ensuring equal opportunities and protecting the country’s wealth,” stressing that “the dangerous scourge of corruption affects the will of the country.” its stability and progress.
For his part, Rafel Yassin "supported the President of the Republic for the work of the Office of Financial Supervision in carrying out the tasks entrusted to it, and his interest in the issue of combating administrative and financial corruption," reviewing the workflow of the Office and plans for the coming period.
