Basra Heavy crude is down by more than $7
Shafaq News/ The price of Basra Heavy crude fell, on Wednesday, to record a daily loss of more than 7 dollars, with the drop in global oil prices.
Basra Heavy crude, exported to Asia, fell $7.42 with a change rate of 7.43%, to reach $92.45 per barrel.
All OPEC crude prices declined, as the UAE Murban crude recorded 106.06, down $4.96, while Saudi Arabian crude scored $103.74 a barrel, a decrease of $7.43, and Algeria’s Sahran blend reached $106.23, down $2.70, and Iran’s heavy mix reached $103.34, down $2.46. The Nigerian Bonny crude amounted to 106.12 dollars, a decrease of 2.16 dollars, while the Angolan Girassol crude amounted to 103.97 dollars, down 2.42 dollars.
Oil prices fell during yesterday, Tuesday, after growth slowed in China, the second largest economy in the world after the outbreak of Covid-19, and investors abandoned high-risk assets amid concerns about high interest rates and their impact on economic growth, before resuming the rise today after the European Union threatened Near the Russian oil embargo.
